Has it been four years? Yes, nearly enough. 589 comics, about three per week for four years. I can't recall where I was headed when I started doing comics, but I've enjoyed it more than I can say.
But all good things must come to an end, and so too, has Feral Chicken. This is the last comic, and it's a suitable end, everyone sitting around in a bar, happy and friendly. I drew most of the comics sitting in a bar such as Underground or The Borough, and that's how it normally was for me. (Nowadays I hang out at Tiny Bubble Room)
Feral Chicken never took off like I privately hoped, but that never really bothered me. I gave it a fair chance. It had a few hundred regular readers, and that was fine. A few, such as Susan, Audrey, and several others, made it really fun.
What's next? Well, I'm moving to Portland Oregon and Drawing birds of a different feather. Check out my Threads account or ask to see my Instagram page if you want to catch up.
Thanks for reading. :-)
